Software Life Cycle Process and ERP

Allan's report regarding the software life cycle process gave me a clearer picture about the different kinds of frameworks being used in developing IT projects. Though each one is unique, I have to agree with sir that we should not limit ourselves to just one framework since IT projects have a tendency to keep changing/evolving. IT developers will have to be flexible and should be able to identify when they need to mix or use a different framework from the one they started with. In the end they will have their own custom framework. It was also nice of Monir to explain how they apply agile as developers. With regards to ERP, I'm still a bit on the skeptical side about it. Having a single database connected via network is kind of scary. The moment you lose connection, what will happen? No access to the system means no productivity right? Though it is good that each branch using the system has an offline server which consolidates to the main server/database.
